Minneapolis students in grades 8 through 12 who are within the Minneapolis Public Schools district or are Minneapolis residents can apply. Members receive a weekly stipend and build leadership skills.

The Safety Perceptions Survey is collecting responses from young people across Minneapolis. It is anonymous and asks where and when youth feel safe. Results will inform the coordinated safety plan this fall — take it, and share it with the young people in your life.

Summer placements are underway as young people begin paid work experiences with employers and community partners coordinated through the Youth Coordinating Board network. Placements pair skill-building with mentorship, and partner sites span nonprofits, city departments, and local businesses.
