The Minneapolis Youth Congress is a representative group of young people with a real voice in decisions and policies that affect youth in Minneapolis, collaborating with elected officials so the needs and perspectives of young people are included in the city's work.

Members lead projects, discussions, and community conversations on the issues young people face in their education, including the discipline gap, student-teacher relationships, alternatives to out-of-school suspensions, and racial and cultural equity in schools.
